Babcock Lecturer Dr Seun Ebiesuwa Accused of Assaulting His Wife

A lecturer at Babcock University, Dr Seun Ebiesuwa, has been accused by his wife of physically assaulting her during a dispute involving their children.

The allegation surfaced on social media after the woman shared a video on September 13, 2026, in which she appeared to show swelling on her face and a bruise around her mouth. She also complained of pain around her head while recounting what she said happened.

According to the woman, the confrontation began after she discovered that Ebiesuwa had gone to her father’s residence and taken their children. She said she went there and met him packing the children’s belongings.

She alleged that during the confrontation, Ebiesuwa moved close to her despite her asking him to step back. She said she pushed him away, after which he allegedly grabbed her and punched her in the face.

“Then he grabbed me, and then I tried to fight him off, and then he threw a punch. He threw a punch on my face.”

She further alleged that the confrontation escalated, claiming that he continued throwing punches until her brothers arrived and intervened.
